Washington Park Dutch Colonial: 2007
This family with small children needed a beautiful and practical design to meet their needs in this small urban yard. The garage was unusable, the side yard was wasted space and the patio was disconnected from the children's play area. A new garage was built as an extension of the home's Dutch Colonial style and can be used for entertaining space when needed. The enlarged stone patio and adjacent lawn are perfect for family dining and entertaining. Opening up and connecting the side and rear yards provided room for a playhouse.
